                                                                                                                               January 2015

New Year! New Promises! New Opportunities! and New Challenges!

The Bible tells us in Phillippians 3:13-14. “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”

We may not be where we are going, but PRAISE GOD, we are not where we once was. “Old things have passed away and behold ALL things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Excitement is in the air – God is doing a NEW thing in 2015! God has blessed us so much at F2W, words can’t describe the abundance He has bestowed upon us. God spoke in the New Year’s Eve service, we would see 100+ souls saved in 2015. We are seeing new faces in each service and each ministry is growing by leaps and bounds.

God has strategically placed specific leaders in their positions and each ministry is flourishing into the magnitude He expects. All leaders have committed to reading the Bible and praying on a daily basis.

If you have not tried F2W, I encourage you to try it once…once is all it will take for you to say, “That was not church as usual, that was an encounter!”

God Bless each of you as you begin 2015 and remember this…Your life will not get better by chance, it will get better with GOD……..

                                                                        Homecoming 2015

Homecoming–May 17, 2015 at Harrison Bay State Park

Free to Worship Revival Center will Celebrate its 6th Annual Homecoming at Harrison Bay State Park in the large pavilion (in front of the swimming pool). This celebration will take place on May 17, 2015 at 2pm. I would like to take this oppourtunity to personally extend an invitation to each of you.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 6 years since God birthed F2W (Free to Worship). As I reflect back on the years, there has been good times, bad times, happy times, and sad times – but through it all, God walked every mile with us.

I looked up the word “Homecoming” and found it to mean several things, school homecomings, homecoming dances, and at the very bottom of the list – it said, “church homecoming” and the definition read: “to celebrate church heritage and welcome back former members. They are often held annually.” To celebrate church heritage…Heritage is “something that comes or belongs to someone by reason of birth”. So homecoming is to celebrate our “birth”. Our birth was unexpected and unplanned. It was definitely a “God did it” moment.

Free to Worship has stood through storms while holding on to the Master of the Wind. Free to Worship has lived through slander and jealous spirits, experiencing first hand, Him preparing a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Free to Worship has also seen the mighty hand of God move in healing, deliverance, and salvation – on numerous occasions. I could go on and on with examples of how God has proven time and time again, that HE ordained this ministry to be birthed.

Free to Worship is a ministry that helps hurting people and people that have been church hurt. I am writing this on April 3, 2015 and as of this date, 84 people have been saved or rededicated to God since January 1, 2015. That is 84 people in three months and two days….God is doing it!!!! So many exciting things are happening and upcoming events and news to soon be released, you don’t want to miss a thing.

Mark May 17th down in your calendar and don’t miss out on this celebration – bring lots of food. We will have preaching, singing, fellowship, food and lots of fun!! 2pm @ Harrison Bay State Park

Love and Blessings to you all, ><>

                                                                                                                 Youth Xplosion 2015

(This months Pastor’s Pen has been written by Youth Pastor Christy Lawson)

Praise God, it’s that time of year once again! June 10th, 11th, and 12th marks our 7th annual Youth Xplosion(YX) at F2W! What is YX? Well I’m glad you asked. It’s a gathering of youth of ALL ages from area churches that come together NOT to steal from anyone’s pond – but to celebrate the King of Kings! We have drama teams, choirs, dance teams, puppet ministries, and different youth leaders from the area who minister the Word of God each night. We also have FUN and GAMES! Trust me, you don’t want to miss this event! F2W has been blessed in all the years past from this event, to reach out from within our four walls and gain new members that were looking for a church home. You see…the goal is to be His hands and reach, His mouth and speak, His eyes and see, the ones who are broken and lonely and just need to know there is a group of God’s people who want to call you “family”! Make plans to come be with us – there won’t be one night that’s a repeat – and you will NOT be disappointed! We would love to have you!
